Program Overview

The clinical immunohematologist, commonly refereed to as the blood banker, is certified to work in the immunohematology laboratory department only. The immunohematologist categorical national certification encompasses only the discipline of immunohematology.

The Institute of Integrated Laboratory Sciences offers a program to prepare individuals interested in only taking the categorical immunohematology national certification. The immunohematologist program is designed to provide clients with the knowledge base needed to pass the clinical immunohematology national certification.
